The charity bike ride has come to an end, with a massive 374.08 miles cycled in just 24 hours!!
The exercise bike, kindly donated to us by Fitness First, took pride of place in the Office Response reception for the past 3 days with staff from around the business cycling for 8 hours per day.
The Office Response ‘Big Wigs’ Team arranged the 24 hour cycle to raise as much money as possible for Sue Ryder Care – the cyclists will have until mid January to have their sponsorship money in, when we will find out who managed to raise the most money and award them with their prize!
We have also arranged prizes for the person who:
Cycled the furthest
Cycled for the longest amount of time
After 3 days and a lot of effort by everyone involved, we can reveal the winners…
Emma Meredith managed to cycle a whopping 47.29 miles in 2.5 hours – winning the prize for cycling the furthest distance!
Runner up was Steve Herbert, just behind, with 47.24 miles.
The winner for cycling the longest amount of time was Felicity Clack with 3 hours (totalling up 41.27 miles)
Sponsorship forms have been filling up quickly so we are in no doubt that we have raised yet another great amount of money for the charity…
The Big Wigs team have until the end of January to see how much money they can raise for Sue Ryder Care and if they can be crowned with the Charity Entrepreneur of The Year Award!!
