Office Response can assist you with a range of Non–Geographic and virtual telephone numbers on many UK exchanges, including London.

 
Non–Geographic 08 Phone Numbers

Non–geographic numbers, starting with 08, are virtual numbers and are connected onto a terminating standard number (01 or 02 number). These numbers are becoming increasingly popular for a number of reasons:

• They have in-built call divert facilities, i.e. we can set up time dependant diverts to switch telephone calls between different locations at set times of the day and days of the week.
• They can play a part in increasing the level of response from marketing campaigns by encouraging calls from outside of your location and by reducing the cost of the call for the caller.
• They are portable numbers. If an 08 number is used as your main business number and you change your business location there is no need to change your telephone number.

There are a number of different options available:

Freephone 0800 or 0808

The cost of the call is completely paid for by the recipient. These non-geographic numbers are a useful way to increase the number of telephone enquiries from marketing activity where your adverts may appear alongside other similar adverts. A freephone number may generate extra enquiries.

Lo–call 0845

Charges are split between the caller and the recipient. 0845 non-geographic numbers create a nice "touchy, feely, friendly" atmosphere for your business and are particularly useful if you trade with the public outside of your region.

National Rate 0844

The caller pays the cost of the call at the national call rate. If you are dealing mainly with larger businesses where the caller is unconcerned with the cost of their call and you are looking for an economical option then an 0844 non-geographic number could be the answer.

Geographic 01 & 02 Virtual Numbers

We can also assist you with a geographic virtual number for most of the telephone exchanges in the UK. If you’d like an Andover or Zetland number and all stops in between (including London and all major towns and cities) then we can help. With these numbers you will get a number preceded with the area code of your choice. Calls are then forwarded to your chosen location. You are charged a line rental and call charges for the call costs.
